OLIVER — ECHOES WE LEAVE BEHIND

Echoes We Leave Behind is a series of ten original piano compositions by OLIVER. The project explores how moments become memories, how absence leaves a shape, and how a simple melody can hold both melancholy and hope.

The series began with A Memory In Bloom, released on 28 November 2025. The piece moves from fragile, bright notes toward a warmer and more hopeful resonance — like a memory slowly coming into bloom. The remaining works function as individual chapters while sharing an open, melodic and cinematic language.

OLIVER is a self-taught pianist who composes by ear and intuition. He describes the process as capturing small melodies before they disappear. Alongside music, he works as a chiropractor, and qualities such as precision, presence, listening and touch also inform the way he writes and performs.

The music is recorded on a Steinway & Sons D-274 at Rainbow Studio in Oslo, produced by Bjarne Stensli and engineered by George Tanderø. The recordings emphasize the natural resonance, dynamics and intimate character of the instrument.

Echoes We Leave Behind continues to develop through new releases, live performances and visual stories connected to selected works.
